The Red Wing 875 Classic Moc Toe Boot in Oro-Legacy is a classic moccasin-style shoe made in Red Wing, Minnesota. The Red Wing 875 Classic Moc is the ultimate classic Red Wing boot. Its predecessor, the Red Wing 877, was originally released in the 1950s to meet the needs of hunters and farmers. The Red Wing 877 was built to withstand heavy work in harsh conditions, and the high shaft protected against snake bites. In 2013, Red Wing introduced a new leather for the 877: Oro-Legacy Leather, a tribute to the history of the 877 and 875 boots based on designs from the Red Wing archives. Oro-Legacy Leather is based on the leather of the legendary Red Wing Irish Setter boots from the 1970s. Because no pigment is added during the finishing process of Red Wing leather, the natural character of the leather is highlighted. In addition, the Red Wing Oro-Legacy leather ages beautifully and features excellent craftsmanship. The signature white Cushion Crepe sole with Traction Tred provides maximum grip and exceptional comfort. The Red Wing 875 boot comes with the original round yellow/brown taslan laces.
