The workers who proudly worked in these mines were nicknamed "Iron Rangers," emphasizing their adventurous mentality. The Red Wing Iron Ranger is easily recognized by its lined leather toe cap, which provides additional protection. In addition, the Red Wing Iron Ranger features additional heel protection for better support. The Red Wing 8085 boot is made of Copper Rough & Tough leather, which has a stylish brushed look. Copper Rough & Tough leather has a vintage appearance due to the amount of oil used during its manufacture. The Red Wing 8085 Iron Ranger features an unbreakable Lug Vibram 430 outsole and comes with black/brown round taslan laces.
